About..
In 2012, former UK university lecturer, Elizabeth Tomkins began offering watercolour and water based media workshops in Brittany. She runs workshops and courses from her home on the edge of the Broceliande as well as teaching and demonstrating for art groups and associations in a range of venues across the region .
Workshops are for artists and learners of all abilities offering a friendly environment that encourages and inspires artistic growth.
'Technical skills can be learnt but the ‘magic’ comes from your unique imagination. Understanding the medium by learning core skills will allow your creativity to fly!'

What You
Will Learn
You will learn the skills and technical knowledge needed to underpin your creative intentions - whatever they might be! You will learn to use watercolour (and a whole range of other water based media) with confidence. Teaching is delivered by demonstration, step by step direction and tutorials. Projects and course modules are tailored to suit learner interests wherever possible. Research and homework are entirely optional! You can choose to join a small group, learn on line or book one-to-one coaching sessions.

'I love watercolour! It is a dynamic medium that anyone can use without too much specialist equipment. It's accessible and easily portable – as easy to use at a table, in a field or on an easel. It is such a versatile medium - it really does offer something for everyone.'
